Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. You’ll split time between two nearby locations, providing direct and consultative services to elementary students who benefit from individualized intervention.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Valid Occupational Therapy license in WashingtonExperience as a school-based OT or in similar pediatric settingsFamiliarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentationUnderstanding of sensory and motor skill development in childrenStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to adapt to various school environments and travel between locations as neededPrimary Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and provide therapy to elementary students with diverse needsCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on student progress and goalsDevelop and update treatment plans and maintain accurate records in line with educational best practicesSupport students in achieving greater independence and participation in classroom routinesContribute to IEP meetings and share expertise on occupational therapy servicesEnjoy working in a setting where your specialized skills are highly valued.
