Job DetailsDescriptionThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for the administration and performance of the Industrial Relations program in the following areas: Policies and Procedures, Safety, Personnel Requirements, Staffing and Training. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed; they are only the major dutiesDuties And ResponsibilitiesAdminister and coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, pre-employment drug testing, physicals, backgrounds, and new hire orientation for the operation.Support employee relations by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive workplace cultureAssist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and proceduresMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in UKG and personnel filesProcess payroll changes, promotions, terminations, and other employee status updatesCoordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and open enrollment processesAssist in performance management processes and documentationMonitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulationsParticipate in HR projects such as employee engagement, and training programs,Generate HR reports and metrics as neededComplete all state unemployment claimsEnforce company policies and proceduresConduct employee meetings on a one-on-one basis periodicallyOperates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, package and ship materialRequired QualificationsMust have good written and verbal communications skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordHR experience preferred; manufacturing or warehousing industry experience is a plusKnowledge of HR best practices and employment/labor lawsProficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Paycom, Workday)Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not requiredMust have a thorough knowledge of WSI policies and proceduresTravel may be requiredBenefits OfferedBlueCross and BlueShield MedicalDentalVisionFree Life Insurance401K PlanProfit SharingPaid Vacation, Holidays and Sick TimePerformance Reviews at 90 days, 6 months, and annuallyFinal candidates must possess a solid work history, pass pre-employment background and post offer drug screen/physical.
