Hotel Front Desk Clerk

Overview We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth hotel operations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate guest records and billing information Perform night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating via phone or email Assist with administrative tasks related to front desk operations and guest services Experience Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Experience with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish) are a plus for serving diverse guests effectively Knowledge of resort operations, guest relations, and night audit procedures is desirable Previous hotel experience demonstrating excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills This role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests through attentive service and efficient front desk management.
