Senior Software Engineer, Client Management

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on Ridgeline's Client Management team, you'll help define and develop industry-defining, cloud-native software that transforms how investment firms onboard clients, manage portfolios, and automate investor services. You'll collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for our Client and Revenue Management products—built from scratch using modern tools and frameworks. In this role, you'll tackle complex engineering challenges while leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT, to accelerate your workflow and amplify your impact.At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. If this excites you, we'd love to meet you.You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement intuitive, secure, and scalable cloud-native applications from scratch using modern frameworksBuild performant and maintainable backend services using Java or Kotlin, REST/GraphQL APIs, and SQLParticipate in all stages of the SDLC, including requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, and releasePartner closely with product, design, and UX to shape a seamless user experienceLeverage GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar tools to accelerate development and inspire creative problem-solvingDrive technical quality through rigorous testing and automationMentor and inspire fellow engineers by sharing best practices, leading by example, and encouraging continuous learningContribute to a collaborative team culture centered on transparency, curiosity, and resilienceQualifications8+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably building cloud-native applicationsProficiency in backend development using JVM languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin), APIs, and SQLHands-on experience building on AWS, Azure, or Google CloudStrong testing discipline across unit, integration, and system levelsPassion for problem-solving, clean architecture, and scalable designInterest in leveraging AI tools to optimize development workflowsAbility to communicate clearly across disciplines and levelsWillingness to continuously learn new technologies and domain knowledgeSerious interest in having fun at workBonusExperience with Docker, containerization, or IaC tools like TerraformFamiliarity with Kafka or AWS MSKBackground in CRM, revenue systems, investment, or asset managementKnowledge of performance optimization at scaleExperience using Datadog for observabilityAbout RidgelineRidgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management.
