Assistive Technology Product Sales & Channel RepresentativeCommunity Services - Shreveport, LA 71103OverviewSalary Range $78,000.00 - $78,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full TimeDescriptionTitle: Assistive Technology (AT) Product Sales and Channel RepresentativeDepartment: Community ServicesLocation: Low Vision Rehabilitation Center (LVRC)Wage Category: ExemptReport To: Sr. Director, Client SolutionsOverview: The Product Sales and Channel Development Representative drives revenue growth by developing new business, managing a strong sales pipeline, and expanding a high-performing partner network across healthcare, nonprofit, education, and accessibility-focused markets. This sales-driven, partner-centric role builds and supports distributor relationships, sources and onboards high-value products, and delivers bundled solutions that strengthen partner sales. With regular travel for client engagement and events, the role collaborates closely with Customer Support, Sales Support, product, operations, and clinical/training teams to accelerate adoption, resolve issues, and generate revenue through both direct and channel sales.Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:Proactively identify, cultivate, and solicit new business opportunities within the assistive technology market.Own revenue generation, pipeline management, and quarterly/annual sales targets.Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales quotas and performance metrics.Present tailored sales proposals, handle objections, and close deals effectively.Expand sales within existing accounts and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.Conduct high-impact sales calls and presentations with agencies, specialists, and institutional partners.Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors and sub-distributors to expand the market.Create and help develop a new national sales department.Product Knowledge and DemonstrationBecome an expert in assistive technology products, software, and Louisiana Association for the Blind (L.A.B.) core values.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AT trends, developments, and competitive offerings.Accurately demonstrate AT products to clients, including doctors, educators, rehab professionals, and Veterans Association representatives.Keep AT product samples in good condition for demonstration purposes.Lead Generation and ProspectingConduct consistent cold calling, prospecting, and follow-ups to generate new client interest.Seek leads through multiple media sources and the Client Records Management (CRM) system.Prospect assigned the Gulf Coast territory regularly to identify new sales opportunities.Monitor bidding platforms for potential opportunities.Client Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.Utilize the CRM system to manage contacts and track sales activities.Marketing and Strategic CollaborationCollaborate with the Marketing team to promote special sales and assist in marketing initiatives.Support in-service training, marketing campaigns, and practice management efforts to increase sales volume.Represent the agency at AT exhibitions, conferences, and product demonstrations.Administrative and Reporting DutiesComplete daily sales call reports and maintain accurate agendas.Provide sales forecasts and budget reports to the Senior Director and Vice President as needed.Ensure sales funnel accuracy and pipeline alignment with revenue targets.Stay informed about AT news and industry developments.Vendor and Partner RelationsBuild and nurture relationships with existing vendors.Research and establish connections with alternate vendors to meet product/service delivery goals.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceA high school diploma or equivalent is required.Five to seven years of business-to-business sales experience, ideally in a related industry or with innovative product sales.Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.Skills and CompetenciesProficient in the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high standards of professionalism.Travel and Physical RequirementsMust be willing and able to travel frequently, including overnight trips.Valid driver's license is required; must be able to drive up to 10 hours per day.Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and transport exhibit materials.Capable of standing for up to 8 hours at exhibit booths and performing physical setup/teardown.
