VP/SVP Corporate Development - In-Licensing, Novel Pipeline - Strategic partnerships

Overview This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting, leading global biotech company during a period of exponential growth. You will be 2nd in command to the Chief Business Officer, and be responsible for doing mega-deals, predominantly within Oncology, for a biotech with very aggressive growth plans and an appetite to do deals.You will Lead US anchored licensing and strategic transactions to accelerate the companies innovative pipeline in oncology and other high need areas, complementing in house discovery and development capabilities.Responsibilities Originate and execute licensing in, co development, and strategic collaboration deals for novel assets and platformsOwn end to end deal process from opportunity identification through diligence, valuation, negotiation, and contractingBuild and manage a high quality external network across biotech, pharma, investment banks, and venture groupsDrive internal decision making with cross functional leaders across R&D, clinical, regulatory, CMC, and commercial planningLead alliance governance for key strategic partners to ensure delivery of development and value milestonesRepresent the company at major partnering forums and conferences, including JPM, to drive visibility and access to top tier opportunitiesQualifications 15 plus years in biopharma BD and transactions, with multiple closed high value deals as the primary deal leadDeep experience in oncology and biologics, ideally including ADC, multispecific, or IO combinationsStrong command of term sheets, valuation, and complex rights structuresProven executive presence with CEOs and boards, able to lead negotiations independentlyComfortable operating in a fast moving global organization and working fully remote in the USTo apply for this role, please send an up to date cv to jesse.mallett@rbwconsulting.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
