Molder Operator (2nd Shift) (Hiring Immediately)

<strong>Now hiring for 2nd Shift with our injection molding client in Sparta!<br><br>Shift: </strong>Monday - Friday 2PM-10PM<br><strong>Starting Pay: </strong>$17.69 per hour<br><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Operate molding presses, vacuum forming, die-cutting, CNC routing, plastic granulators, general hand tools, and other related equipment.<li>Work with multiple presses running in a fast-paced environment.<li>Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.<li>Maintain standard cycle as established by job rate. <li>Must be able to handle large sheets and or part/parts. Sheet size can be up to 51 X 75 inches. <li>Inspect quality of parts and report any changes to the immediate Manager/Lead.<li>The operator will be held accountable for the quality of his/her work. <li>Move, pack, or stack raw or finished parts without damaging or affecting quality.<li>Make sure labels are affixed neatly and have correct information on them.<li>Clean up at and around presses during mold changeovers, and clean up at the end of the day. <li>Perform re-work or other necessary functions when instructed or when time allows.<li>Assist in the development and training of new machine operators.<li>Communicate to the relieving operator, such as trimming, packing, and quality standards.<li>Work a flexible schedule to support production demands. <li>Adhere to department and company safety guidelines.<li>Ability to perform a visual inspection for cosmetic defects.<li>Must be able to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.<li>Work independently of continual supervision.<li>Perform other duties as assigned or needed<strong>.</strong></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Qualifications:</strong><ul><li>Must be able to perform basic math, read and understand instructions.<li>Must be able to make decisions.<li>Must be able to retain information.<li>Must be able to use and read precision measuring devices.</ul><strong>Environmental/Working Conditions:</strong><ul><li>Factory environment.<li>Will occasionally be exposed to moderate noise, oily dusty, hot, and wet conditions.<li>Will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.</ul><strong>Physical Functions:</strong><ul><li>Lift/carry: 50 pounds waist level<li>Push/pull: 30 pounds<li>Step up and down from machine platforms</ul><strong>Postural Tolerances:</strong><ul><li>Stand, walk, reach: frequently<li>Bend, stoop, squat: occasionally</ul><br><em>ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
