Seeking a Compassionate Primary Care Physician in Denver, CO
Position Summary: Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join their team in delivering high‑quality care to our diverse and underserved geriatric patient population. The ideal candidate will diagnose, educate, and initiate treatment in an outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote health and prevent disease. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a health center committed to comprehensive, patient‑centered care.
Core Responsibilities
Comprehensive Clinical Care: Examine geriatric patients of all backgrounds, diagnose conditions, order/interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging), and develop and implement personalized care plans for long‑term conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) and conduct wellness exams.
Team-Based Care & Coordination: Collaborate with internal and community providers, and specialists to manage care transitions, ensuring continuity, particularly for medically complex patients. Supervise and support advanced practice professionals.
Patient Advocacy & Communication: Build trusting, long‑term relationships through effective, empathetic communication. Educate patients and families on disease management and healthy lifestyle changes.
Efficient Workflow & Technology Adoption: Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate, up‑to‑date, and detailed documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Certification: Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
Licensure: Current unrestricted state medical license and DEA license.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional empathy, compassion, and the ability to build rapport with diverse, often vulnerable, patient populations.
