Administrative AssistantOne of the leading energy and natural gas producer. Job DescriptionThe role of Gas Scheduling Administrative Support provides Gas Distribution Schedulers with daily administrative assistance. Duties include preparing and printing of work packets, coordinating site checks, providing customers with site check updates, contacting Miss Dig for staking requests, contacting customers to confirm gas line appointments, updating field employee's schedules with training, assist with processing Frost Law permits for municipalities, and updating order statuses in various department data systems. QualificationsMust be able to interface and work with teams with diverse disciplines, understand their administrative needs and requirements. Must be willing and able to rely on Policies, Procedures, Job Aids and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position. We are willing to train the skilled candidate on the job. Skills Required: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to perform standard to complex office tasks Ability to prioritize and multi-task Attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and perform new responsibilities Skills that will set you apart: SAP Experience Plotter printer operation Utility experience Customer service experience Scheduling experience Education: Experience Required: 0 to 1 year's work experience, this is an entry level position. Experience Preferred: Some work experience in an administrative or clerical role Experience with SAP would be an asset Strong customer service background Education Required: High School degree or equivalent Education Preferred: Some college Other Information: May require lifting and/or carrying heavy loads (Approx. 5-35lbs) May require travel May require overtime
