Job Summary And ResponsibilitiesDignity Health Medical Group - Sierra Nevada is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with experience in Urgent Care or a related specialty to work on a new Mobile Care Unit, as well as in our existing brick-and-mortar Urgent Care Clinic. The primary goal of this position is to staff the Mobile Unit.The Mobile Unit will start on a three days/week schedule and will expand as demand grows. This full time opportunity will work 168 ten-hr shifts per year (approximately 3 shifts per week) and may include shifts at the brick-and-motor Urgent Care clinic. The brick and mortar UC clinic is located in beautiful Grass Valley, CA. The mobile unit will be based out of Grass Valley, but will travel throughout surrounding rural areas within approximately 50-100 miles of Grass Valley, CA.Our ideal candidate has experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, Street Medicine or similar.The Ideal Candidate Is Open To The FollowingOffering excellent Urgent and Primary Care services to patients in a mobile unit that will travel throughout the community.Ability to work independently and lead the care team aboard the mobile unit. Offering excellent Urgent Care services to patients in a new and growing brick and mortar Urgent Care center in Grass ValleyPartnering with highly trained, competent and caring support staffProviding services in a rural community where healthcare providers are appreciated every day for their heroic workWillingness and ability to drive a mobile care unit (similar to driving an RV). Operating the Mobile Care Unit will include cleaning, stocking, fueling, and filling and emptying the waste tank. Maintenance needs/issues will be reported to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.Must have a CA drivers license and acceptable driving record.
