This role ensures machines are properly configured to meet production specifications, quality standards, and operational efficiency targets.In addition to performing machine set-ups and changeovers, this position actively operates equipment during production runs, monitors performance, addresses process issues, and supports continuous improvement efforts to maximize uptime and throughput.Work Location/ScheduleThis position requires the employee to be onsite at our VitalPath Maplewood, MN location.Shift/Schedule: First Shift Monday-Thursday 4am-2:30pmVitalPath does not offer relocation assistance for this position.ResponsibilitiesPerform machine set-ups and changeovers according to production schedules. Configure equipment settings, tooling, and machine parameter. Verify machine readiness prior to production start-up.Operate production equipment to meet production schedule after set-up completion.Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed.Troubleshoot machine and process issues following standard operating procedures.Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment checks, including but not limited to performance lubrication, cleaning, adjustments and minor part replacement.Complete required production, quality, and maintenance documentation. Ability to read technical drawings including but not limited too: product specifications, material specifications, workers orders.Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality.Communicate equipment issues, downtime, or production concerns.Maintain compliance with safety and operating procedures.Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Train others as directed.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED or equivalentMechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skillsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyFrequent bending, reaching and repetitive hand movementsAbility to work around manufacturing equipment safelyPreferred Qualifications2-years associates degree preferredExperience with braiders, coilers, laser welders, oven and reflow machines preferredCompensation PackageThe hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 .
