Salary: $0.00 MonthlyLocation : Lorman, MSJob Type: Full-Time StaffJob Number: FY202600084Department: School of Education and PsychologyOpening Date: 02/24/2026Job TitleDirector, Licensure, Accreditation, and Reporting (CAEP/MDE)Essential Job FunctionsLeads coordination of all accreditation and state approval processes for educator preparation programs, including CAEP and Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) requirements.Directs the preparation and submission of accreditation reports, annual reports, and state-required documentation.Oversees licensure reporting, including Title II and other required federal and state submissions.Monitors changes in licensure regulations and accreditation standards and ensure program alignment with current requirements.Oversees the collection, validation, and reporting of candidate and program data required for accreditation and compliance.Maintains organized documentation systems to ensure continuous accreditation readiness.Coordinates preparation and logistics for accreditation and state review site visits.Collaborates with department chairs and program coordinators to ensure timely submission of assessment data and required evidence.Provides regular accreditation and compliance updates to the Dean and recommend actions as needed.QualificationsEarned doctorate degree in the field of educationThree (3) years of teaching experienceProgram management experienceLicenses/Certifications: PreferredKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of MDE licensure requirementsKnowledge of relevant higher education laws and requirements (e.g., FERPA, Title IX, Clery Act, etc.)Knowledge of accreditation standards and processesKnowledge of BANNER (processes and scripts), Grades First, and Hobson softwareProficient in spreadsheet applications and data management toolsAbility to perform data analysis and interpret results effectivelyAbility to compile, validate, and organize data for institutional and accreditation reportingAbility to build and sustain trust-based working relationships with faculty and campus stakeholdersAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize assignments, manage competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy in reportingEEO StatementAlcorn State University is expressly committed to providing equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry age, religion or religious creed, disability or handicap, sex or gender identity and/or expressions, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
