Job Description
About the Role: The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in supporting senior leadership by delivering insightful financial analysis that informs operational, financial, and strategic decision-making. This position owns key forecasting and budgeting processes, supports cash flow planning, and translates complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executives and business partners across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes, updating models and assumptions as business needs evolve.
Support short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
Perform financial and operational analysis, including scenario modeling, trend analysis, and risk/opportunity identification.
Lead month-end activities, analyze monthly and quarterly results, identify key variances, and present insights to senior management.
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools; develop visualizations using Power BI and other analytics platforms.
Prepare internal financial reports, executive presentations, and ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Combine observed patterns and trends and create accurate forecasts, able to triangulate and exercise judgement.
Partner with department leaders to gather assumptions and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Drive process improvements and help implement scalable, data-driven solutions.
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years' experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and compelling narratives.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with comfort presenting to senior leadership.
Highly collaborative, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
