Job Title: General Construction Laborer (Residential Projects) Company: Junge Construction Location: Columbus, NC Job Type: Full-time Compensation: $18-$21 per hour, depending on experience About Junge Construction Based in Columbus, NC, Junge Construction builds custom residential homes with an emphasis on durability and attention to detail. Our team works on a small number of projects at a time, allowing employees to stay involved and develop hands-on skills across multiple phases of construction. Position Summary We are looking for a General Construction Laborer to assist across active residential job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes direction well, and wants to build experience in the construction field. What You'll Do Support daily job site setup and breakdown Assist with moving and organizing building materials Help skilled trades with basic carpentry and construction tasks Operate tools and equipment under supervision Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized Assist with material returns and site logistics What We're Looking For Construction experience is helpful but not required Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors Team-oriented mindset with good communication Transportation to job sites in and around Columbus, NC Driver's license if operating vehicles is required Work Environment On-site at residential construction projects Local travel between nearby job sites as needed Standard schedule is weekdays during daytime hours Benefits Paid time off Opportunity to gain hands-on construction experience Hiring Process Applicants who meet the role requirements may be asked to complete additional screening steps, which can include a brief video interview.
