Position Title Senior SAP IQ Database Consultant / Data Warehouse Architect Location Remote (Occasional On-Site Meetings) Employment Type Full-Time | 40 hours/week Contract Duration 9-Month Base + Four (4) 12-Month Option Periods Start Date September 30, 2026 Clearance Eligible for IRS Staff-Like Access | U.S. Citizenship or LPR Required Position Overview E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP IQ Database Consultant to serve as technical lead for the IRS Compliance Data Warehouse (CDW)-a 10-petabyte enterprise data warehouse. You will provide technical leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction for database administration, data integration, and operational support. Key Responsibilities Lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to DBA teams and developers. Develop and enforce technical standards, operational procedures, and governance practices. Administer SAP IQ databases (Simplex/Multiplex) at enterprise scale. Design logical/physical data models and optimize database performance. Oversee ETL processes using SAP Data Services. Provide incident response, root cause analysis, and issue resolution. Collaborate with Government stakeholders and multiple CDW contractors. Engage effectively with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications Experience 15+ years progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise database environments. Demonstrated ability to lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions. Proven experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and training. Experience developing and enforcing technical standards and governance practices. Extensive experience with SAP IQ products and SAP Data Services (ETL) . Certifications SAP IQ Database Certification (preferred). Key Competencies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Company must be an Authorized SAP Partner. Preferred Qualifications Experience with U.S. Federal Government agencies. Experience with 10+ petabyte enterprise data warehouses. Experience with SAP Sybase IQ in a multiplex environment. Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows. Experience with SAN, remote mount points, file shares, and DAS.
