Role Overview Quality Control Specialist Supervisor in the Crop Insurance Quality Control & Compliance team. This role performs compliance functions as defined in the Standard Re-Insurance Agreement (SRA), overseeing review processes and providing leadership to direct and indirect staff. Location This position may be based remotely; if located near the Lubbock, TX office it is expected to work in a hybrid capacity. Responsibilities Supervise approval and processing of compliance reviews (APH Reviews, Claim Reviews, other internal reviews), analyzing completed reviews and supporting documentation to determine completion pursuant to RMA rules and guidelines. Provide consultation and expert advice on RMA rules, guidelines, and AgriSompo systems to adjusters and quality control personnel. Approve and process compliance reviews by evaluating documents from insureds, supporting policy documentation, and field reviews to confirm compliance. Analyze and recommend adjustments to quality control review documentation for accuracy, reasonableness, and conformity to RMA policies. Ensure accurate and timely processing of Quality Control Reviews to expedite claim processing by developing prioritization systems and researching each review to decide status and next steps. Additional Duties Provide training to compliance staff, underwriters, and claims processors on internal review processes. Assist in managing all compliance-related reviews and developing/revising policies for the Quality Control department. Provide regular reports to National Compliance managers and review supervisors. Collaborate with IT to test fixes and enhancements related to Quality Control processes. Deliver strong customer service to internal and external customers. Support Quality Control Supervisors by assigning/reassigning compliance reviews to Field Compliance Reviewers as needed. Oversee staffing activities—hiring, training, performance management, promotions, corrective actions, terminations as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Agriculture or related field (preferred). 2–3 years of experience with Multi‑Peril Crop Insurance in claims auditing or underwriting (preferred). Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF programs; strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple assignments and coordinate several projects with changing priorities. Capability to work both autonomously and effectively in a team environment.
