Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Job DescriptionOur client has a a full-time, hospital-employed position for a Psychiatrist who is Board Certified/Board Eligible. The practice is located in the Capital District of New York, just a few minutes away from Albany. The location is central and offers easy access to major cities such as NYC, Boston, and Montreal. As a Consult Liaison Psychiatrist, you will provide inpatient consultation coverage at one hospital. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, and inpatient only Hospital Employee, Inpatient only. Competitive Income Guarantee. Call rotation is 1:4 weekends.. Paid time away from the practice. Relocation assistance is available. CME time & expense allowance. Consultations will focus primarily on patients with mental illness who have comorbid medical illness while in the hospital. Competitive base salary including starting bonus. You will provide Psychiatric consultative services to the medical and surgical teams at the hospital including the ER. Paid malpractice, including post- employment tail coverage.
