The Parts Spider is responsible for helping to increase the level of productivity of the service technicians byhandling the back counter as well as the local supply chain.
Parts Spider Core Responsibilities
Safeguard organizational and personal information confidentiality
Respect and enforce the policies, rules, and values of the Company
Respect and utilize the Prevost Back Counter principles: rules, guidelines, and procedures
Contribute to the attainment of Company objectives through efficient use of our resources
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and improved communication between sectors
Act as a worthy representative of Prevost
Tasks
Prepare, in advance, the parts carts and display the parts in the required sequence of utilization by the service technician
Deliver the carts to each service technician and confirm that all required parts have been provided
Pick in the back counter store or order from the parts counter any additional parts required by the servicetechnicians; deliver the parts and return any parts that might not have been utilized
Replenish the store by following the back counter re-ordering process; put away the parts delivered by thewarehouse clerks
Assess, on a regular basis, the inventory level of parts in the back counter store
Adjust, in conjunction with the service manager, the type and number of parts in the back counter store basedon local branch requirements (i.e., season, warranty, etc.)
Assist the service technicians in diagnosing technical problems (if needed)
Help the service technician in anticipating the required or additional parts he/she might need
Various other tasks as assigned
Responds to customer inquires for replacement parts, accessories or technical support
Includes warranty returns to factory and vendors
Parts Spider Required Competencies
Determining required parts needs, picking and delivering parts to service
Proficiency in accessing databases to identify parts, numbers, etc.
Able to interact with customers and respond to their needs
Able to work in a team concept with people from all aftermarket sectors
Able to follow organizational guidelines and be very rigorous in the Kanban principles
Parts Spider Minimum Education & Experience Preferred:
Two-year technical degree OR High School diploma with related work experience
Three to five years of experience in automotive/ bus/ truck products
Parts Spider Physical Requirements
Able to lift 35lbs
Able to be mobile through the warehouse and parts department
Able to tolerate extreme local temperatures

For this position, the base pay is set at $29.00 - $35.00/ hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
