First-Party Property Insurance Attorney

Suli Law Group, a boutique Tampa plaintiff's litigation firm representing homeowners, commercial property owners, and HOAs in first-party insurance disputes, is seeking an experienced First Party Property Insurance Attorney to join our Tampa office.The attorney will carry their own docket of first-party property matters from intake through trial, with firm-generated cases and full support staff. The role demands attention to detail, command of the facts early in the case, and the ability to move files efficiently from pre-suit into litigation to maximize value for our clients.Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of first-party property matters from intake and pre-suit through litigation and trialBecome familiar with the facts of each case early and develop the case theory accordinglyMove files efficiently from pre-suit demand through filed litigationLitigate residential, commercial, and HOA policy disputesHandle appraisal, arbitration, and select bad-faith mattersDraft and argue dispositive and discovery motionsTake and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, corporate representatives, and expertsPrepare and try cases when warrantedCommunicate effectively with clients, public adjusters, contractors, and retained expertsAttend occasional industry events and community functionsRequirements:Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing1–5 years of first-party property litigation experience; plaintiff or defense background welcomeAbility to manage cases independently from pre-suit through trial with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and command of case factsSkilled motion practiceExcellent oral advocacySharp legal writing and researchDeposition and mediation experienceProficiency with LexisNexis and Microsoft OfficeWillingness and ability to work from our Tampa officeA competitive attorney who likes to winCompensation and Benefits:Competitive base salary plus uncapped performance bonuses tied to attorney's fees collected on resolved cases — your earning potential grows directly with your results, with no ceilingPaid time offFirm-generated cases and support staff providedOptional Business DevelopmentSuli Law Group is an equal opportunity employer.
