Pharmacist Highlights The pay for this position is $61.77 per hour. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday — 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM Onsite position (Las Vegas, NV 89119) This position is a Temporary role (conversion possible based on performance) Hours: ~30 hours/week (up to 40 hours/week) Responsibilities Dispense prescriptions and perform final verification/quality checks for accuracy and dosage. Review patient profiles for drug interactions, sensitivities, and appropriate therapy ; determine when clarification or intervention is required. Coordinate clinical services for specialty medications serviced at the branch location. Communicate with prescribers/healthcare professionals to resolve clinical or order-related issues. Enter prescriptions into the system and resolve order exceptions via the External Adjudication (EA) queue . Support patient services by responding to medication questions/concerns via phone/mail as applicable. Maintain procedures for controlled substance security , quality assurance, and proper disposal of hazardous waste pharmaceuticals. Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure timely, accurate prescription processing. Requirements Active pharmacist license in good standing. High School Diploma or GED (required). Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (required). Pharmacy experience: at least 1 year in a retail or long-term care setting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal/communication skills. Basic computer skills (prescription entry/documentation). Must be able to work on-site and the stated schedule ( Fri–Mon, 3 PM–1 AM ). Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. Check medications prepared by the pharmacy technicians Coordinate all clinical pharmacy patient care and pharmacy dispensing/shipping activities Coordinating all clinical pharmacy patient care and/or pharmacy production activities Mean that the supervising pharmacist have reviewed the prescription or drug order Provide direct supervision to pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians working with the pharmacist Maintain pharmacy patient profiles and dispensing records Provide pharmacist counseling for all new prescriptions to patients Supervise the work of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns Assign projects to resident pharmacist and other pharmacy personnel Initiate and facilitate appropriate drug dosing and manage medication-related pharmacist Provide clinical pharmacy support and execute clinical pharmacy programs for all patient areas Prescribe interview or dispensing pharmacy interview Optimize pharmacy practice, pharmacy systems, and the medication-use process Enter prescription data into pharmacy software Perform individual patient pharmacy reviews to determine medication adherence and medication reconciliation Supervise pharmacy technicians in drug distribution and compounding tasks Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians
