What You'll Do as an Industrial Painter: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, grinding, and blasting as requiredApply industrial coatings using spray equipment and other application methodsMix paint and coatings according to specifications and manufacturer guidelinesEnsure proper coating thickness, coverage, and finish qualityInspect finished products for defects such as runs, drips, or inconsistenciesFollow safety procedures related to hazardous materials, PPE, and ventilation requirementsMaintain painting equipment, spray booths, and work areas in a clean and safe conditionRead and follow work instructions, blueprints, and coating specificationsWork collaboratively with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production schedulesWhat You Need to Bring to the Industrial Painter Role: Must have at least 6 months industrial or manufacturing painting experience in the last 3 yearsMust have knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applicationsMust be able to safely operate spray guns, sanders, grinders, and related equipmentMust have basic math and measurement skillsStrong attention to detail and qualityReliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shiftsExperience painting tanks, pressure vessels, or heavy industrial equipment is preferredFamiliarity with epoxy, urethane, or other industrial coating systems is preferredReady to Apply?Click "Apply Now" to complete our quick, mobile-friendly application.
