This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Support the preparation of management reports and presentations.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Oversee vendor invoice processing, payment runs, and account reconciliations.
Monitor accounts receivable, ensure timely collections, and maintain customer ledgers.
Reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions.
3. Compliance & Audit Support
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
Prepare documentation and coordinate with external/internal auditors during audits.
Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, GST/VAT, and other statutory requirements.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities.
Track actual vs. budget performance and prepare variance analysis reports.
5. Process Improvement
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives within the accounting function.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred).
Experience: 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; prior experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
Knowledge:
Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
