FIELD SAFETY SPECIALIST

Job description Safety Professional Job Summary RM Mechanical has an immediate opening for an energetic Safety Professional in Boise Idaho. This position’s primary goal is to ensure our employees are safe and comply with all relevant customer, RM, and governmental regulations. This position is a entry level safety position. You will be joining an outstanding existing team of safety professionals. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn, has an interest in the safety profession, and is familiar with OSHA and is comfortable working at active construction sites. Safety Professional Duties and Responsibilities Inspect safety equipment to ensure they meet company and industry safety standards Assist customer safety teams during audits Coach and collaborate with team members on safe practices and provide input for specific hazards. Enforce safety procedures to reduce or eliminate safety risks Conduct weekly safety meetings for new and current staff Collect, audit, and document various safety form and documents. Safety Professional Requirements and Qualifications Interest and willingness to get educated in safety. Employer will pay for and assist you in obtaining OSHA 30 training. 1+ years of professional safety experience or construction experience Knowledge of first aid procedures and tools Must pass a background check and drug test Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be available to work Saturdays Must be stand and walk for extended periods of time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Experience: EHS: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
