This role focuses on protective operations, advanced planning, and risk mitigation across residential, travel, and global environments. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of operating independently and as part of a team while executing protective operations at the highest standard.RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of the Travel Executive Protection Agent include, but are not limited to:Executive Protection & Protective OperationsProvide close protection and low-profile security support to principals across travel, events, and daily activitiesConduct advance planning, site assessments, and trip briefings to identify and mitigate riskSupport protective operations, ensuring readiness and adherence to established protocolsCoordinate with local law enforcement, internal teams, and external partners as neededDeliver real-time risk assessments and communicate potential threats to personnel, assets, or reputationExecute daily operations, including movements, coverage, and logistical coordinationMaintain operational readiness of equipment, vehicles, and supporting materialsAdapt to dynamic schedules and evolving operational requirements while maintaining professionalismProgram Management & StrategyDirectly support the protective services program, ensuring alignment with client expectations and global standardsDevelop and implement policies, procedures, and escalation protocols for protective operationsIdentify gaps in processes, resources, and coverage; implement solutions as part of the broader security strategyLead internal initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of security operationsOversee quality control measures across employees, embedded staff, and contracted resourcesAssist in budget development, forecasting, and resource planningEmergency & Incident ResponseAct as the lead responder during emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, security threats, and severe weather eventsCoordinate response efforts with emergency services and external partnersPrepare detailed incident reports, conduct debriefs, and recommend corrective actionsClient Coordination & Relationship ManagementServe as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders regarding security operations and transportation logistics.Maintain strong relationships with client teams and ensure services align with expectationsProactively communicate service updates, risks, and operational improvementsMeet with clients to define protective service needs and deliverables.Administrative & ReportingMaintain accurate documentation, logs, and incident reports.Track KPIs, operational trends, and risks; provide regular reporting to leadership and clients.Prepare briefings, updates, and strategic reports as required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 4+ years of Executive Protection experience requiredPrior military background strongly preferredMust possess a valid concealed carry permit (CCW) in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and VirginiaCapability to obtain LEOSA certification strongly preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressureFamiliarity with cameras, alarms, access control, and smart-home systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in the Washington, D.C., climateValid driver's license and ability to pass a background checkThis position requires up to 50% travel, with the flexibility to travel when operational needs arisePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMilitary or police experienceCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSThe HSA medical plan covers 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage. The PPO medical plan requires an employee contribution for employee-only coverage.
