Marketing Assistant

Job DetailsThe Marketing Assistant supports the bank's marketing and community engagement efforts through social media, events, and outreach initiatives. This role assists with managing and creating engaging social media content, including short-form videos highlighting employees, community involvement, and bank products. The Marketing Assistant serves as an outgoing representative of the bank, helping coordinate sponsorships, community events, and volunteer activities throughout Washington County. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the latest developments in social media marketing.Assist in creating videos (recording and editing) for social media content that highlight bank employees, community involvement, bank updates, and product highlights.Community RelationsBe an outgoing representative of the bank. Build and maintain relationships with employees of the bank and members of the community.Assist with marketing sponsorships with local organizations including schools, charities, business and chamber events, and other prominent community activities.Assist with employee involvement with community events, sponsorship booths, and volunteer opportunities (including parades, customer appreciation events, open houses, press conferences) that promote the bank in Washington County.Takes minutes of Washington County Community Relations Committee.Marketing Team MemberAssist the bank's marketing team in executing strategies that impact the bank's purpose and cause, and helps the bank's overall reputation.Additional duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsExperience creating engaging social media content and supporting social media marketing campaigns.Basic video editing skills for short-form and promotional content.Experience assisting with event planning and on-site execution.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Social Media or Event PlanningSkillsProven verbal, written and editorial skillsTime management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at onceAbility to think innovatively and outside-the-boxAbility to work at a fast pacePart-time employees will be eligible to participate in the following benefits and programs:401K with employer matchAnnual Incentive ProgramPaid Time Off (PTO) accrual every pay periodUp to 12 paid holidays per yearEmployee recognition programMonthly wellness activitiesJ-18808-Ljbffr
