Participate in management team meetingsKey AccountabilitiesSupervisor is responsible for ensuring all setups are completed daily and for reporting all walkthrough findings in Fieldflex. Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, developing, and documenting floor, and carpet cleaning schedules and directing the work of subordinate employees for each area of responsibility.Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training results are obtained and documented. Promotes a positive work environment by ensuring proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained. Maintains at a ready to audit state all safety, equipment and training records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. Makes nightly rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives. Meet with Manager and internal customer completing documented audits as required Maintains a part time qualified work force to support employee time off. Completes nightly handover documentation for manager regarding action needed. Documents and tracks employee work time, overtime, absenteeism and scheduled time off. Responsible for employee payroll Documents nightly audits of employees work areas, providing feedback on performance. Completes employee evaluations timely, documents and communicates performance issues immediately to Manager. Completes weekly employee Safety training documenting results. Work under general supervision and use independent judgment to apply the guidelines to specific situations. Performs related work as assigned.Ideal Candidate Experience5+ years related experience as a supervisor. Must have knowledge and experience working with a PC and basic software. Floor technician experience a plus. Familiar with industry standards as related to cleaning of buildings, striping and waxing floors, carpet detailing, window cleaning, tools and operation of equipment Experience managing multiple sites must. Ability to train and supervise a large group of employees (20+ employees) Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules and regulations. Ability to execute work schedules making the most efficient use of personnel Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced, high volume environment. Must be able to flex work schedule to meet business needs Experience supervising union employees a must Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
