How you’ll make an impact in this role Expertly evaluate patient conditions to prioritize care and implement life-saving interventions in a high-acuity environment. Precisely carry out physician orders and monitor patient stability, adapting care plans instantly as conditions evolve. Act as the primary coordinator for the multidisciplinary trauma and emergency teams to ensure seamless, well-timed care. Provide clear, empathetic education and support to patients and families navigating the stress of an emergency visit. Coordinate urgent diagnostic testing and facilitate efficient admissions or discharge planning to maintain optimal department flow. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
