The Estimator fulfills client appointments in a timely manner and demonstrates a professional demeanor to all potential new and current customers. The Estimator performs initial site inspections. The Estimator assesses projects by identifying project requirements, regarding time, labor, and material costs. The Estimator reads blueprints and analyzes all other applicable documents to prepare estimates. The Estimator acts as the final say in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of estimates. The Estimator presents estimates to clients in a timely and polite manner and recommends cost-reduction options. The Estimator closes the job by obtaining the signed ATPS (authorization to provide services) from the customer and collects the deductible, where applicable. The Estimator assists the sales team in final project preparation transactions. The Estimator maintains thorough records of all project documentation, including estimates, sales receipts, and project completion documentation. The Estimator provides all site-collected documents and funds to the project management team. The Estimator follows the company dictated commission turn in procedure. The Estimator operates all technology-related equipment in a professional fashion. The Estimator maintains company vehicle in customer presentable condition & ensures all required maintenance is performed in timely fashion. The Estimator must be at work at 6:30 in the morning and attend JMR meetings daily. The Estimator must be available for emergency on-call sales.Accountabilities:Previous construction experienceBe trained in and use PSA, XactAnalysis, and XactimateObtain Construction Training certificationObtain Xactimate Level 1 certificationOperate and understand MatterportFoster positive relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors and vendorsExcellent skills in verbal/written communication, teamwork, accuracy, conflict resolution, cost management and time managementManage multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be detail-oriented and follow through to completion of a projectUtilize the latest server and cloud based computer technology including: Xactimate estimating software, Microsoft Office, PSA project management/accounting software and document management softwareStrong math skillsMust be able to climb ladders, scale roofs, and inspect crawl spacesMeticulous in observation during site inspectionsMay work 48+ hours per week (Office hours are from 6:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday)May be on call during catastrophic eventsPerform other responsibilities as requiredRequired Qualifications:Previous construction experienceExperience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate a plusLevel 1 certification in Xactimate or willingness to obtainValid Driver's License & eligibility to work in the United StatesAbility to pass a background check and drug screenNo felony convictionsCompensation:Salary $50k - $60k, depending on experienceEligible for commission plan after 90 days and favorable review, possible earnings of 50% to 100% of your base salaryHealth/ Vision/ Dental/ AflacPaid Time Off8 Paid HolidaysCompany vehicle and fuel card providedCompany laptop providedCell phone reimbursementEquipment provided
