The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to customers. *Duties* - Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers - Inspect dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before they are served - Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of orders - Assist in food preparation and plating when needed - Provide support to cooks during peak hours - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area *Experience* - Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred - Knowledge of food service operations and terminology - Strong communication skills to interact with kitchen staff, servers, and customers - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Customer service-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed - Experience in a hotel or hospitality industry is a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Opportunities for advancement Shift: Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Ability to Commute: Nashville, TN 37214 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Nashville, TN 37214: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
