YouTube Operations Specialist (Sports)

We are guided by data, a love of entertainment, and an entrepreneurial spirit, servicing the world’s largest video platforms, film & TV studios, sports leagues, music labels, and brands.You’ll be joining a dedicated, focused Operations team as a part of Vobile’s Channel Management Department. We need someone to be our new YouTube Channel guru. The ideal candidate would be someone who lives and breathes social media, can think of creative ways to improve a video upload, and help clients understand the ever-changing world of digital video!Note on Scheduling: This role requires a flexible schedule, including working every other weekend. When working a weekend, you will have the following Monday and Tuesday off to ensure you still get your two consecutive days off. The standard hours for this role are 11:30am to 8:00pm PST.ResponsibilitiesManage the operations of YouTube channels for some of the most premium brands on the platformDevelop insights into the performance of video content, creating actionable insights leading to increased views and subscribersManage all channel content including: uploading video content, optimizing titles and descriptions for improved SEOCreate custom video thumbnails, create and organize video playlists, add custom end cards and update channel design elementsWork with the account management team, ensuring YouTube strategy falls in line with clients' needs and requestsJoin regular client calls, participating in discussion of strategy, recommendations, and workflowResearch and identify tent pole events, along with content recommendations and insights to help promote the channel during these eventsBecome familiar with the clients' brand voice by studying client specific trends and social media accountsQualifications Passion for sports and entertainment contentKnowledge of YouTube and/or other social platformsProficiency in grammar, spelling, an interest in creative writingStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracyComfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, startup environmentAbility to work on multiple projects at onceWillingness to work on weekends and unconventional hoursBasic to intermediate skills with video/photo editingEven if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we’d still like to hear from you!Vobile is an equal opportunity employer.
