Title: RF Engineer (Antenna Testing / RF Systems)Location: Hudson, NH (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (4 Months to Start)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleJoin an RF engineering team supporting advanced defense and aerospace systems. This role focuses on antenna testing, RF system evaluation, test procedure development, troubleshooting, and integration activities within complex RF environments.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with antenna testing, RF measurement equipment, and RF system analysis within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and analyze RF systems and antenna-related componentsSupport RF system integration activities across aerospace and defense platformsConduct antenna and RF testing to ensure compliance with technical and performance requirementsDevelop and execute RF and antenna test proceduresPerform antenna range and short-field antenna testing activitiesTroubleshoot RF system issues including:Signal interferenceNoise issuesPower limitationsPerformance optimizationUtilize RF test and measurement equipment including:Network analyzersSpectrum analyzersSignal generatorsOscilloscopesSupport RF frequency planning and spectrum management activitiesPrepare technical documentation including:Test plansReportsSpecificationsDesign documentationCollaborate cross-functionally with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering teamsQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related fieldStrong understanding of antenna theory (REQUIRED)Hands-on experience with antenna testing (REQUIRED)Experience creating RF test procedures (REQUIRED)Experience with antenna test ranges and short-field antenna testingStrong understanding of RF systems and RF componentsExperience with RF design and simulation tools such as:MATLABADSCST Microwave StudioExperience with RF measurement equipment including:Network analyzersSpectrum analyzersSignal generatorsOscilloscopesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsStrong technical communication and documentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in:AerospaceDefenseRF communications systemsExperience supporting system integration activitiesExperience supporting antenna development or optimization initiativesExperience supporting regulated or high-reliability systemsCompensationEstimated hourly range: $55–$60/hr (W-2)Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.Work Location: 100% Onsite – Hudson, NHContract Duration: 4 Months to Start
