At Swissport, we are driven by our core values of Show You Care, Do the Right Things and Win as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals, who align with these values, to join our team at various locations across the globe.Job Summary: Lead Cargo Agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities; arranges warehouse handling equipment and loads/unloads air cargo, while maintaining the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies. The expected pay rate is $19.25/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.Your Activities:Ensure that financial targets are met in line with the operational planEstablish and maintain a high quality standard in the cargo operation; ensure that work flows are constantly improved to cope with competitive requirements.Ensure that all subcontracted cargo services providers are closely supervisedEnsure price increasesMaintain close and effective business relationships with customer airline's management.Maintain a good working relationship with the various control authorities such as Airport Management, Customs, Immigration, etc.Identify root causes of problems and institute corrective actionsGenerate detailed reports and summaries of operationsResponsibilities include but are not limited to operational performance, ensure effective planning methods and procedures are in place and that there are adequate resources, both manpower and equipment, to meet operational requirements.
