Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant ( New Graduates welcome) - Home HealthLocations: Prince George's County & Charles County, MDJob Type: Full-Time (Onsite / Field-Based)Schedule: Monday - FridayPractice Setting: Advanced Wound Care (Home Health & Outpatient) Job Overview:We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing healthcare team specializing in advanced wound care. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through a combination of home visits and outpatient services.This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced providers who are passionate about procedural care, improving patient outcomes, and working in a collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and detailed wound evaluationsDiagnose and manage acute and chronic wounds (e.g., diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, post-surgical wounds)Provide advanced wound care treatments including debridement, dressing management, and infection controlPerform clinical procedures such as suturing, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and catheterizationCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plansConduct home visits and ensure continuity of care through follow-upsDocument patient encounters accurately using EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth)Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, infection prevention, and lifestyle modificationsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical programs Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseCertification as NP or PA requiredNew graduates are welcome to applyStrong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and wound healing principlesKnowledge of infection control practicesExperience with clinical procedures (suturing, IV therapy, catheterization) preferredProficiency with EMR/EHR systemsFamiliarity with CPT coding and workers' compensation (preferred)Strong communication and patient education skillsAbility to work independently in a field-based/home health setting Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary (based on experience)Health Insurance401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Mileage reimbursement for travelOpportunities for training and professional growthSupportive and collaborative work environmentFor more information, please contact:Phone:Email:
