This role focuses on prospecting, consultative selling, and delivering tailored transportation solutions to meet the needs of local businesses.Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and develop new commercial business opportunities within the assigned market Build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, fleet managers, and decision-makers Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate vehicles, upfits, and financing solutions Present and demonstrate commercial vehicles and services to clients Prepare quotes, proposals, and bid responses for commercial accounts Coordinate with finance, service, and parts departments to ensure a seamless customer experience Manage and grow an active pipeline of leads and opportunities Follow up consistently with prospects and existing clients to drive repeat business Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings Attend networking events, trade shows, and community events to promote dealership servicesQualifications Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required; training provided. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
