Entry Level Position
As an Electronics and Telecom Technician within the Operations Department at PDF Corp, you will be a key player in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic safety and telecommunications systems.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Electronic Safety and Security (ESS), Data & Telecommunications systems, Professional Audiovisual Systems (AV)
Test, troubleshoot, and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in electronic and telecommunications systems.
Assemble and connect system components (e.g., cables, wires).
Perform wiring terminations of electronic low-voltage wires, fiber optic wires, and structured telecommunications data wires.
Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure, including structured cabling and fiber optic systems.
Actively participate in learning opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:·
Associate Degree in Electronics and/or Telecom Systems.
Basic understanding of electronics and telecommunications principles.
Familiarity with electronic safety and security systems, data & telecommunications systems, and audiovisual systems is a plus.
Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of structured cabling principles and practices.
Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA and BICSI is a plus.
Valid Drivers License.
Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged time sitting and standing.
Willingness to travel within and outside of Puerto Rico.
Long periods of bending and squatting.
Climbing up and down stairs.
