Senior Analyst, Scalable Marketing Measurement Analytics

Role Summary/PurposeThe Senior Analyst, Scalable Marketing Measurement Analytics will support the Scalable Marketing Measurement Team in driving key initiatives & projects related to Marketing Campaign Performance, building enterprise-wide dashboards, and other tools, and provide Ad hoc analysis as required. This role will be responsible for preparing dashboards, performing data validation, and evaluating feedback received with the goal being to incorporate scalable marketing solution enhancements that enable users to gain valuable insights.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist the Scalable Marketing Measurement team in driving adoption of tools and capabilities related to Campaign PerformanceMaintain dashboards and tools that team owns, develop a flexible structure that can be leveraged for client/portfolio specific data. Validate data accuracy and completenessEngage with 3rd party partners to integrate, automate, and standardize data feeds, validate data for accuracy and competenceProvide support to Portfolio Marketers and Analytics to understand the performance metrics for marketing campaigns, provide guidance on campaign design as requiredAbility to work across multiple time zones, collaborating cross-functionally with onshore and offshore teamsUse Synchrony Project Management tools such as Kanban board to track progress and timelines for all tasks within the teamPerform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree and 1+ years of analytics experience; OR in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 4+ years of analytics experienceExperience to include:1+ years of experience in an analytics role1+ years of experience in data visualization and storytelling utilizing tools such as Tableau, or another data visualization tool1+ years of experience with statistical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python1+ years of experience querying and analyzing large amounts of dataDesired CharacteristicsAnalytics experience with a marketing focus such as campaigns.Bachelor's degree in STEM or related quantitative fieldRetail or financial services/ credit card or payments industry experience.The ideal candidate will need to think quantitatively and analytically as well as creativelyStrong experience with SQL, Python, and SAS - ability to perform ETL processesExperience with cloud-based analytical tools (AWS, Azure, etc.)Proficient in data visualization utilizing Tableau and Microsoft PowerPoint, strong understanding of best practices when visualizing dataAbility to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written & in presentation form) and summarize for key stakeholdersUnderstanding of credit card and consumer finance industry dynamics, as well as P&L metrics and definitionsManage offshore team resourcesStrong analytic and project management skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to provide wing-to-wing analytic support including pulling data, preparing analysis, interpreting data, making strategic recommendationsFamiliarity with how marketing campaigns work and how they are measured across different channels, portfolios, and typesGrade/Level: 09The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Our Way Of WorkingWe’re proud to offer you flexibility.
