Software Test Engineer

Role: Integration/Test Engineering Location: Sunrise, FL (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months What is a typical work day? This is 100% onsite, The contractor will do a 3PM setup automation test and then in the morning they will retrieve results from the automation test and store them in the database. The contractor will do a quick analysis and troubleshooting, if it is a complex issues they will go to the team lead. Running manual tests which are project related. This position is mainly for manual test. There is a daily agile scrum meeting with the test team to review where they are and assign task. Must- Haves (Hard Skills) · Test Background Must demonstrate the ability to make solid technical contributions on a team serving multiple groups within the Division, often subject to numerous and changing priorities. · Networking routing concept Job Description: Software Test Engineer for the Software Design Verification (SDV) team in the L3Harris Communications Systems Division. As a member of the SDV organization, the position is a staff-level engineering assignment. Responsibilities: - System-level qualification testing of radio products and their associated accessories - Execution of both manual and automated tests - Development of system qualification test plans - Generation of defect analysis reports - Support hardware and software fault isolation In addition, the position requires establishing close working relationships with development engineers to suggest and support TR resolutions. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communications, be a self-starter and demonstrate leadership capabilities. Requirements: Test Background Must demonstrate the ability to make solid technical contributions on a team serving multiple groups within the Division, often subject to numerous and changing priorities. Desirable Skills and Qualifications: Not required, but every skill or qualification is a bonus. - Military experience working with radio communications - Networking background with CISCO router experience - DoD security clearance - secret or higher.
