Senior Project Management Consultant - BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)Juno Beach, FL (Hybrid) | 12-Month ContractOur client's Engineering & Construction Business Unit is seeking a Senior Project Management Consultant to support a growing portfolio of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the U.S. and Canada.This role is responsible for coordinating internal and external stakeholders across development, engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction functions from early-stage development through pre-construction.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate highly matrixed project teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverablesSupport environmental, regulatory, land acquisition, and interconnection workstreamsDevelop and refine project scope, execution strategy, and timelinesOptimize technical and financial project variablesSupport PPA and GIA processesCollaborate with engineering and estimating teams on design and cost developmentDevelop and manage financial models for project approvalSource and negotiate contracts for engineering, EPC, and supporting servicesTrack project progress, risks, and key milestones across multiple projectsPresent updates and reports to internal stakeholders and leadershipEnsure smooth transition of projects into construction phasesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field4+ years of experience in project management within energy, infrastructure, or constructionStrong coordination and stakeholder management experienceExperience with financial modelling, budgeting, or project economicsExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsExperience with renewable energy, power markets, or BESS projectsUnderstanding of project development lifecycle (early-stage to construction)PMP certificationAdvanced Excel skillsAdditional InformationProjects span across the U.S. and CanadaOccasional travel required for site visits and public meetingsFast-paced, high-growth environment within renewable energy
