Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer to design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications in an enterprise ITSM environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development, integrations, and automation, with a focus on stability, scalability, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI ActionsConfigure and support core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and CMDBDevelop and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and approvalsBuild and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data importsCustomize forms, lists, views, dashboards, and reports as per business requirementsEnsure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, platform standards, and upgrade compatibilityParticipate in production issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuningSupport platform upgrades, patching, and testing activitiesCollaborate with functional consultants, platform admins, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsMaintain technical documentation and support audit and compliance needs.Participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.Design and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management), ITOM, HRSD, and others based on business needs.Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align solutions with organizational goals.Required Skills & Experience3-7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experienceStrong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting frameworkExperience with ITSM implementations in enterprise environmentsWorking knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and integrationsExperience with ServiceNow update sets, scoped applications, and deployment best practicesStrong understanding of ITIL processesExperience working in production support and regulated environmentsGood to HaveServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS - ITSM)Experience with SIAM, custom apps, or performance analyticsExposure to Retail / large-scale enterprise accountsBehavioral & Delivery ExpectationsStrong ownership and execution disciplineAbility to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentClear communication with stakeholders and customer teamsFocus on platform stability, security, and compliance
