EVA Development SE&I Engineer P3 - Space Systems - Oceaneering
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and validate EVA hardware and software components for the PGS Spacesuit Technology program.
Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to integrate power generation, life support, and communication subsystems into the overall suit architecture.
Conduct risk assessments, failure mode analyses, and performance testing to meet NASA JSC and JETS II contractual requirements.
Prepare technical reports, design reviews, and documentation for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Support flight qualification activities, including mock‑up testing, environmental qualification, and crew training support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in spacecraft or EVA systems engineering.
Strong knowledge of NASA JSC standards, JETS II contract processes, and spaceflight safety regulations.
Proficiency in CAD, FEA, and systems modeling tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
