Production Technician

Production Technician Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Production Technician for a large, well-known client in Northwood, OH. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Technician to join the precast concrete team. This role is responsible for building a variety of precast concrete products for commercial and residential projects, electrical and DOT applications, as well as burial vaults. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a hands-on, physically demanding environment, has experience with concrete and reading blueprints, and is trainable and eager to grow their skills on the job. Available shifts: 1st shift (5AM start)- 8 to 10 hr shifts with possible same day overtime- Possible weekend workDuties and Responsibilities:Build precast concrete light pole foundations and related productsSet up and prepare plastic molds for concrete pouringApply epoxy to molds using hand rollers and paint brushesAssist in the pouring, forming, and finishing of concrete productsEnsure all products meet quality standards and specificationsMaintain an organized and safe work environmentClean and scrape molds, forms, and floors by the end of each dayPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:Steel-toed work boots and hard hat requiredAbility to work in a dirty, hands-on environmentExperience with concrete and blueprint readingStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work efficientlyTrainable and willing to learn new skillsPrevious overhead crane experience preferredPreferred experience in construction, concrete work, and electricalAbout Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
