Cannabis Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Cannabis Laboratory Manager to lead our state-of-the-art cannabis manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive quality assurance, research & development initiatives, and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess laboratory management experience, a strong background in working with cannabis manufacturing equipment, and a passion for creating high quality cannabis products including: cannabis extracts, cannabis oil cartridges, and distilled cannabis oil. Lead and manage daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to all CCD regulations company SOP's. Utilize manufacturing equipment to produce high quality cannabis products. Develop, review, and optimize laboratory procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations. Supervise laboratory staff by providing training, mentorship, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Coordinate research & development projects focused on new testing methodologies, product formulations, or process improvements within the cannabis sector. Manage laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data collection, analysis, reporting, and recordkeeping. Implement safety protocols in accordance with regulatory guidelines to maintain a secure working environment. Extensive knowledge of cannabis manufacturing equipment and processes. Proven experience in managing a production and packaging team. Familiarity with cannabis track and trace systems (Biotrack). Excellent project management capabilities to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail for data collection and quality assurance. Experience with research & development activities aimed at improving laboratory techniques or product quality.
