It is scheduled 5 days per week at 8 hours per day.Salary:$55,000 annually (exempt position)Benefits:Insurance:EVSC offers four (4) Anthem medical insurance plans. If elected, insurance coverage begins the first of the month following the successful completion of a 30-day probationary period.Employees enrolled in an EVSC medical insurance plan are eligible to use any of the three EVSC Health & Wellness Centers. The Wee Care program provides a quality early learning experience for employees' children as young as six weeks through age five at a special employee rate.This position will automatically be enrolled in the Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF) through the state of Indiana, which includes a defined benefit (Pension) as well as an Annuity Savings Account (ASA). Employees may also participate in a 403(b) Plan. Enrolling in the 403(b) plan allows employees to save for their retirement by making a pre-tax salary deferral contributions to the Plan.Eligible employees may enroll in the EVSC group life insurance and long term disability plans. EVSC also offers a variety of voluntary insurance products through American Fidelity.EVSC offers a free Employee Assistance Program (EAP). It is a confidential, voluntary service that provides professional counseling and referral services designed to help employees and their family members with personal, job or family-related matters.SUMMARY:The Manager of Grants supports the management and administration of federal and state grants, primarily Title I, to ensure compliance and effective use of funds to improve student achievement.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.Manage day to day grant related activities for Title I and Title I related grants, including maintaining accurate balances and monitoring payroll as related to grant-funded positions.Prepare budgets, purchase orders and payroll reports.Submit bills for payment and cash requests.Assist in the preparation of state and federal grant applications, amendments and reports.Maintain all grant and fiscal related records.Collaborate with non-public schools regarding equitable share and usage of funds, including management of funds and maintaining all fiscal-related records.Monitor the integrity of information used to analyze grant goals, outcomes, and fiscal reporting requirements, and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.Coordinate and communicate with personnel, including building principals, central office administrators and non-public school partners involved in grant-related programming.Develop and present written reports or presentations with a strong attention to detail.Adhere to EVSC fiscal procedures and processes.Communicate directly with the Indiana Department of Education staff as necessary.Attend state training opportunities to remain current on changes in federal rules and regulations relative to federal grant requirements.Work as part of the grant team, collaborating to support other individuals managing grants.Maintain regular attendance record.JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Excellent computer skills and experience in data entry as well as working with detailed data. Ability to operate office equipment and related software.
