This is a remote position from anywhere in the United States. Click here to learn more about UNiD Adaptive Spine Intelligence (ASI).As a UNiD Lab Engineer II, you will start your journey with six months of training that will enable you to provide clinical, technical, and sales support to surgeons, staff distributors, and sales representatives. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as the technical resource between engineering and the medical community. You will be a key partner and will be exposed to sensitive information requiring considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Utilize proprietary software to:Provide clinical x-ray measurementsStimulate surgical corrections based on the surgeon’s case plan and personal preferencesDesign a patient-specific implant based on the planned correctionProvide a real-time measurement and planning service for high-volume sitesCollect post-operative data and prepare a detailed analysis of the results obtainedDiscuss surgical plans with surgeons and their staffCollaborate with hospital staff and sales representatives to manage casesAct as technical support in the operating roomProvide training support to regional managersPresent recommendations based on postoperative analyses<25%: Could be required to travel monthlyMust-Have: Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile and on your resume.Bachelors degree requiredMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experienceNice to Have (Preferred):Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences: Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering2-5 years of experience in the medical fieldExperience working within a clinical settingExperience working in an operating roomExperience collecting, analyzing, and organizing dataExperience working in a fast-paced environmentSpinal technology experiencePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. PR) locations (USD):$80,000.00 - $120,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
