Material Handler
The Materials Handler supports rotational molding production by safely receiving, preparing, handling, and delivering raw materials, pigments, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures materials are available when needed, properly stored, and accurately tracked to maintain efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.About Axle Box InnovationsOur tech development organizations are made up of leading talent with diverse backgrounds that focus on advancing and developing technologies for the public safety industry, first responders, and our armed forces.DescriptionFirst Shift 5am-3pmKey ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and store raw materials including polyethylene resins, powders, pigments, and additivesAccurately weigh, stage, and deliver materials to production areas according to job specificationsMaintain proper material identification, labeling, and lot traceabilityReturn unused materials to inventory and ensure proper storage and cleanlinessSupport color changes and material changeovers by cleaning bins, containers, and equipmentAssist with inventory counts, material usage tracking, and restockingDispose of waste materials in accordance with company and environmental guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all safety procedures, including PPE and material handling requirementsCollaborate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to meet production schedulesSweep and clean production floors, work areas, and walkwaysRemove scrap, waste, and debris from production and staging areasEmpty trash and recycling containers and transport materials to designated areasMaintain cleanliness around rotational molding machines, ovens, and material handling areasSupport production teams with basic shop tasks as neededRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentPrevious manufacturing, warehouse, or materials handling experience preferredBasic math skills for weighing and measuring materialsAbility to read work orders and follow written instructionsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyStanding, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periodsComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and temperature variationSkills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDependable, safety-focused, and punctualEffective communication skills
