Performs a variety of purchasing functions or may be assigned to defined segments of purchasing functionsAchieve annual savings targets as defined by the GroupOptimize the supplier base and reduce fragmentationNegotiate cost savings with assigned suppliers and report quarterly via the dynamic GCRD (Global Cost Reduction Driver)Benchmark market conditions and specifications to identify cost optimization opportunitiesParticipate in cost reduction workshops (VA/VE) to explore alternative services, suppliers, products, and processesEnsure annual productivity targets are metNegotiate general conditions (logistics, payment terms, etc.) and manage HUB-level agreementsAnalyse globalization rate and implement strategies to increase itActively contribute to the Data Factory and HUB Purchasing Team activitiesCollaborate with internal departments such as Data Factory, Accounting, and LogisticsParticipate in common reporting and cost-saving follow-upsAct as a proactive force for improvementCentralize purchasing processes at HUB level in coordination with local and corporate teamsDevelop and maintain the supplier panel for the assigned scopeImplement regional and global strategies within the HUB, coordinating with Hutchinson Group counterpartsEnsure correct Group family classification with support from the Data FactoryDefine, measure, and monitor QCDIS ratings (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation & Sustainability) and align supplier strategies accordinglyEvaluate optimal service costs using expertise within the assigned scopeValidate Sourcing Committee decisions, ensuring supplier capacity and capability commitments are signedApply Group Purchasing rules, contracts, and toolsMonitor supplier performance deviations and lead crisis management or escalation proceduresProactively assess supplier risks and implement action plansEnsure compliance with TOTAL policies, especially regarding Health & Safety during travel, Integrity, and CSRProvide regular reporting to hierarchical and/or functional managementReport potentially hazardous situations and anomalies related to energy performance and management systemsResource management and prioritizationStrong analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reasonProblem solving - creating options and solutionsPurchasing specific calculations and processesDisplays professional integrity & demonstrates commitment to self-improvementAbility to communicate and interact effectively at all levels within the organization and with outside vendors / suppliersAbility to work effectively as a member of a teamFlexibility and professionalism in interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholdersInfluencing and negotiation skillsStrong verbal & written communication and presentation skillsStrong Proficiency in MS Office programs (especially Excel).
