We are seeking a Manager of Business Process Engineering to design and implement future-state processes that do not exist today. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders, vendors, and employees at all levels to drive sustainable process transformation across the organization.
The organization has adopted a holistic Lean Six Sigma approach built around seven key Value Streams, each supported by a Manager and Business Consultant responsible for evaluating, documenting, designing, managing, and monitoring end-to-end processes and enabling systems. This position plays a critical leadership role in transitioning process improvements from design into implementation, ensuring changes are successfully adopted and sustained through strong project management and organizational change management (OCM) practices. This role may include multiple headcount accountability.
Responsibilities
Leads the design and implementation of futurestate business processes across assigned Value Streams using Lean Six Sigma principles.
Partners with Process Owners, business leaders, and technology teams to evaluate, document, and optimize endtoend workflows and supporting systems.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring process changes are effectively transitioned into implementation and operationalized.
Applies project and program management disciplines to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
Leads organizational change management activities to support adoption, sustainability, and longterm success of process improvements.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support platform migrations and systemenabled process redesigns.
Provides leadership across large, crossfunctional teams, aligning stakeholders around shared outcomes and value delivery.
Manages and provides daytoday supervision, coaching, and performance oversight for Business Process Consultants, as applicable.
Monitors process performance and outcomes, ensuring continuous application of Lean principles and measurable improvements.
Serves as a handson leader, actively doing and driving the work—not solely coaching or advising.
Key Qualifications
Clientfocused program, project, and process management experience across operational and crossfunctional workflows.
Strong ability to develop clear, compelling content and present effectively to both internal and external audiences.
Experience building, leading, and influencing crossfunctional teams from concept through implementation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Visio, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Proven experience partnering with both Business and Technology teams to design futurestate solutions.
Handson, executionoriented leadership style with the ability to both design and deliver results.
Proven leadership experience across large, crossfunctional teams.
Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives through implementation.
Strong program and project management experience.
Platform migration experience preferred.
Knowledge of HealthRules and/or COSMOS preferred.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM), Business Analytics, Program and Project Management, or Business Operations.
7+ years of Health Plan / Payer and/or Healthcare experience required.
7+ years of experience and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is required.
Preferred Experience managing daytoday supervision of Business Process Consultants.
Preferred Mastery of Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, A3, Kanban boards, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
Preferred Functional understanding of Agile methodology.
Preferred Handson organizational change management experience.
