Material Handler

Responsibilities Safely load, unload, and transport materials using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Pick and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and manual methods to meet shipping deadlines. Manage inventory by organizing stock locations, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring proper storage practices. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies. Operate heavy equipment responsibly while adhering to OSHA safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries. Support warehouse distribution efforts by maintaining a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and efficiency. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve processes, and uphold safety standards across all operations. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, load & unload machinery, pallet jacks, and cranes. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate order processing. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocol adherence (OSHA standards). Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities accurately. Familiarity with warehouse operations including the use of heavy equipment operation for efficient material movement. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on safety compliance and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
