As a Locum Tenens Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be part of the Behavioral Health department, providing scheduled clinical hours only, with no inpatient or surgical center privileges required. The facility, located in Georgia, is looking for a qualified candidate with active licensure in the state. While the facility uses the Epic EMR system, it does not accept multiple providers, ensuring that you will have a focused and independent practice experience. The practice setting is outpatient, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents in the community. With no admissions required, you will be responsible for managing a varying number of patients per shift, and the patient load will be communicated to you upon further discussion. This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of working either 4 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm or 5 days a week from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The support staff includes a nurse on-site during face-to-face days, and on virtual days, there is a 911 chat with nurses to assist with virtual patients requiring wellness checks.
