Our company culture values and encourages your initiative, exceptional customer service and willingness to learn and contribute to the greater good of the company.What You Will DoPerform HDPE Fusion welding service with Hydraulic and Non-Hydraulic fusion equipmentTrained to maintain hydraulic equipment, and associated equipment, i.e., pipe stands, rollers, trailers, etc.Perform other services such as fire hydrant repair, bacterial samples, sewer testing, and vacuum testingCommunicate directly with customers and schedule your own appointmentsDevelop ability to read construction plans and perform material takeoff quotesWork with management to help ensure accurate pricing for services completedAble to write, maintain, and bill sales orders for customers to completion.Be responsible for maintenance, repair, and rental of machines and/or other shop equipmentWork in local branch’s warehouse and customer service, and contribute to overall branch operations, when service workload allowsParticipate in continuous educationWillingness and ability to learn and perform fusion services as requestedPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorWho We Are Looking ForExperience as a service technician in the Waterworks industry preferred but not requiredHDPE and prior buried utilities experience a plusValid state driver’s license and clean driving record required; ability to gain Class A CDL at later dateAbility to pull trailer with large construction equipment, bundles of pipe and pallets of product.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsDitch safety certification or the ability to obtain it after hiringAble to lift 75 lbs. on a daily basis, throughout shiftMedically able to complete and obtain all state and federal certifications required for safetyIf not current on all tetanus and hepatitis vaccinations, will be required to become so prior to start dateAble to interact positively with, communicate clearly with, and effectively direct all types of coworkers and/or customersMust perform job duties with an emphasis on safety and accountability for actions on and off work sitesAble to operate in a high-paced, demanding environment under a variety of climates and conditionsAble to travel 20% of time, with possible overnight stay requiredAble to work independently with minimal supervisionWhat's In It For YouSalary DOEWorking Hours Primarily Monday - Friday between 7AM-5PM8 Paid HolidaysCompetitive Medical, Dental & Vision BenefitsFlex Spending Programs for health and dependent care$100k Group Life and AD&D Insurance – Premiums paid by the Company!Generous Paid Time Off Accrual starting at 120 Hours per year (plus 10 hours at 90 days!)Generous Discretionary Bonuses and Retirement Profit SharingTraditional 401(k) & Roth with up to 5% company matchGym membership reimbursement up to $50 per monthSafety boots & work pants reimbursement up to $550 per yearAccess to wide variety of training and skills programsSafe and engaging work environmentWe look forward to connecting with you!HD Fowler is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer committed to providing a diverse and inclusive environment free of discrimination and harassment.
